I've been reading Matt Taibbi's article about the GOP clown car and he did an excellent job pointing out how former Governor Mike Huckabee (R. AR) invoked the Holocaust in his opposition towards the Iran Nuclear Deal. Well the Huck is now in Israel fundraising for his campaign and he's not back down:
Huckabee, "It was the Iranians who invoked the imagery and the very word 'Holocaust'. They have said that they have developed missiles that will deliver Israel to the Holocaust. Those are their words. Israeli officials regularly remind the people of Israel and the people of the world that the Iranians attempt is to wipe Israel off the map. And as an American, I'm concerned that the second thing that the Iranians have threatened and they have for thirty six years, is that they will bring death to America. A chant they were making even as they were negotiating."

GOP Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee traveled to Israel to attend a fundraiser at the home of Miami-based Simon Falic, who co-owns Duty Free Americas Inc. with his two brothers. Duty Free Americas Inc. is the largest duty-free operator in the US. Falic is a major contributor to pro-Israel Republican and Democratic politicians and is also a major contributor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's political campaigns. The event was held at Falic's home in the West Bank settlement of Shiloh where Falic has financially supported a number of projects in the region.
Huckabee's visit to Israel was a chance for him to layout his foreign policy plans, especially when it comes to America's relationship with Israel.
Huckabee, "Yakov I recognize Judea and Samaria as a part of Israel and I believe that it's most important that we realize that there are more Jews living in Judea and Samaria than most people ever realize and that those numbers are significant. It's an important part of the security for Israel and so I am not in the least concerned about coming to any part of Judea and Samaria."
Huckabee also took the time address a controversial remark he made to Breitbart News regarding President Obama's nuclear deal with Iran.
"This president's foreign policy is the most feckless in American history. It is so naive that he would trust the Iranians. By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven," Huckabee said.
Huckabee claims that his remark reflects the Iranian's hostility towards Israel
Huckabee, "It was the Iranians who invoked the imagery and the very word 'Holocaust'. They have said that they have developed missiles that will deliver Israel to the Holocaust. Those are their words. Israeli officials regularly remind the people of Israel and the people of the world that the Iranians attempt is to wipe Israel off the map. And as an American, I'm concerned that the second thing that the Iranians have threatened and they have for thirty six years, is that they will bring death to America. A chant they were making even as they were negotiating.
President Obama has been making the case that the deal prevents Iran from gaining a nuclear weapon and that some form of war could erupt if Congress does not pass his plan. Obama made it clear that he will veto any move by Congress to block it.
