Believe it or not, Bill O’Reilly was the voice of sanity in a discussion about Huckabee’s off-the-wall comments about President Obama’s nuke deal with Iran.

In case you missed it, Huckabee – in a seeming attempt to grab some of Donald Trump’s attention – announced that President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran is so bad, it will “take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven.” Predictably, many public figures have denounced the comments.

On The O’Reilly Factor, host Bill O’Reilly told Huckabee, “Whenever you mention the Holocaust or Nazis or atrocities, it’s an emotional issue. Everybody gets emotional about it and we should.”

But Huckabee defended his comment by saying, “The Iranians, themselves, have used that very term.”

O’Reilly went on to say, “If we don’t make the deal (with Iran), they get the nuke.”

“If we don’t go in and militarily make sure they don’t,” Huckabee argued.

“So you’re basically saying there would be war,” O’Reilly said.

“There could be,” Huckabee acknowledged. “But the better thing is to cut them off economically.”

Then he insisted that his comment was entirely reasonable.

HUCKABEE: We know what the Iranians have said and we know that the last time the world did not take seriously the threats to Jews, six million of them died, Bill, and for us to pretend that these are just empty threats – I’ve seen this movie before. It does not end well.

Except there's at least one big difference between Iran and Nazi Germany. Israel has an estimated 80 nuclear warheads whereas Iran has none.
