Like many bands, Neu! is from the '70s. Neu! was formed as an offshoot of another German band, Kraftwerk. You might have heard of them. Both bands became influential forces in music both in Germany and eventually around the world. To give you an example of the kind of music they put out, here's their song "Hallogallo." For you non-German speakers out there like myself, Hallogallo is German slang for "wild partying," which sounds pretty good to me.
