Sean Hannity is very determined to show that Hillary Clinton is not electable. He earns a good living promulgating the G.O.P.'s obsession with derailing the Democratic front-runner. Last night's Hannity featured the former presidential candidate and carbon-based life form, Willard Romney who helped Rick Perry's Bestie psychoanalyze the former Secretary of State. Who could possibly top Willard when it comes to accurately identifying the characteristics of a relatable, warm and beloved candidate?
Sean Hannity believes that Bill and Hillary's Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) has all the underpinnings of a scandal that will topple the political "dynasty." The premise of Hannity's assertion is patently false as it is not a PAC, but a charity, that raises money for the desperately poor. Accepting money from brutal dictatorships on behalf of people in dire need is not the same as Chuck and Davy Koch throwing one billion dollars behind Scott "I've been to a gay wedding but I didn't approve" Walker-for-president. Of course, the email non-scandal is the icing on the cake.
Hannity begins praising Romney's stances on Iran, the Middle East, Russia and the economy as if President Obama has been a colossal failure. He asked,
"Do you sit and watch these events unfold, do you shake your head? What do you think?"
Willard said the world is suffering in the hands of this president. The world is in tumult and disarray, and of course, he had to get in the usual, I tried to become president, I really wanted to be president. The White Horse Prophecy icon still believes it was "HIS turn."
Then they discussed the extravagant luxury of her "Scooby Van." I'm sure it's way nicer than his Gulfstream Jets, so of course, he has every right to denounce her attempt at being folksy.
I'm not the one to give political advice to any one, I didn't win.
But he did say that "she doesn't connect in the way her people would like her to connect," of that, he is certain. They harped for a bit on the lack of spontaneity with her spontaneous photo ops. Imagine that, a politician staging events for the camera? I suppose Mr. 47% has no problem with unscripted and unsolicited publicity at events?
Romney claims that Hillary, as Secretary of State, had a back door way of dealing with foreign governments, clearly inferring that everything this WOMAN does is sneaky. The Mormon "faith" doesn't allow women to hold the priesthood, as they can't be trusted with such responsibility. Women are such wily creatures, you know. Hannity rehashes her email and server as 'a real problem.' Not revealing decades of tax returns was just small potatoes, in case you were confused.
Hannity tries to get Willard to endorse a particular candidate. He said he most likely wouldn't endorse any one, of course because he's 'the chosen one.' He listed a few hopefuls who he believes are "thoughtful and experienced," Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Governor Kasich and Carly Fiorina.
The next topic was the nuclear capabilities of Iran. Romney, in addition to demeaning President Obama's negotiating skills, claimed
"he'd sign ANY deal that was put in front of him."
Both men spouted data about the breakout time of Iran developing a nuclear weapon that was more alarmist than ever, and entirely based on their buddy Netanyahu's two decades-long, fear-mongering rants.
Finally, Romney wished Harry Reid "a comfortable retirement." He's not sad to see him go and hopes there's a new Minority Leader who will "work with Republicans." In all, the interview was a compendium of Romney's greatest lies based on his own delusions.
