President Obama is a master of the subtle takedown, but this one wasn't even that subtle.

Speaking to NPR News' Steve Inskeep, Obama was asked about Scott Walker's remarks that he'd undo the Iran deal on Day One of his mythical presidency.

"It would be a foolish approach to take and perhaps Mr. Walker — after he's taken some time to bone up on foreign policy — will feel the same way," Obama said.

Ouch! There's more, specifically on the question of what power the president has to negotiate these types of agreements.

And, you know, I am confident that any president who gets elected will be knowledgeable enough about foreign policy and knowledgeable enough about the traditions and precedents of presidential power that they won't start calling to question the capacity of the executive branch of the United States to enter into agreements with other countries. If that starts being questioned, that's going to be a problem for our friends and that's going to embolden our enemies.

Behaving like a swaggering corrupt idiot might get by to be elected governor of the same state where the John Birch Society is headquartered, but it's not going to cut it when it comes to being elected President. Walker might -- might -- survive the primaries if the media continues to ignore the corruption he's been so instrumental in bringing about, but I don't think it will elevate him to the White House.

At least, I hope it won't, because Walker's lack of foreign policy knowledge is terrifying.
