The Daily Show's Jon Stewart opened this Wednesday's show by taking a few jabs at our corporate "news" outlets for their so-called "standards and practices" or lack thereof. Whether it's making the story all about themselves, and chasing around Hillary Clinton's "Scooby van" like a bunch of idiots, showing graphic footage of police shootings and violence with no warnings for the viewers ahead of time, or using some of that same footage as a backdrop to their stories with little to no regard for the audience or for the humanity of the people being shown in the videos, Stewart let them have it for every bit of it.

He wrapped things up by mocking them for the one place they do seem willing to draw the line with what's unacceptable to put on the air. After showing footage of various outlets bleeping the officer who said "fuck your breath" to a dying Eric Harris who was killed by Oklahoma police and the 73 year old pay-to-play deputy who put a bullet in him by "mistake," Stewart let them have it.

STEWART: Yeah, it's outrageous. You have nailed the real outrage. What's it like in CNN's standard and practices department? Hey, you can't say fuck on the air, kids might be watching... and re-rack that shooting footage. Kids might be watching.

Can you help us out?
