When it comes to TV composers, Yoko Kanno is as good as they get in the world of anime. She's definitely one of the more versatile composers out there, doing everything from jazz to electronica. Combine that with the fact that she does film and video game work as well and you've got yourself one talented lady. Aside from her media work, she's got a lot of good material on her own, which is definitely worth exploring.
