While the panel on Fox's Cavuto on Business, with guest host Charles Payne filling in for Neil Cavuto was having a nice "fair and balanced" discussion attacking Walmart protesters who have been out there pushing for a living wage for their employees, frequent guest Charlie Gasparino decided to throw this stink bomb out there.
GASPARINO: I think you and I were talking about this at the break. These are paid agitators for the most part and I think if the American people knew where taxpayer money, which funnels its way from community organizing groups like ACORN and some of these other big unions...
PAYNE: La Renza... whatever that is. La Raza, yeah.
GASPARINO: … and other unions and how there's a sort of coalition of the left that pays people to attack big business, or business, I think the American people would be aghast of what's going on. This is a real tragedy for our economy right now.
Of course none of the other guests bothered to correct him and remind him that ACORN doesn't exist any more. Gasparino seems to be suffering from the same mental disorder as the House Republicans who attempted to defund ACORN three years after it had already disbanded.
This is an old smear being regurgitated by the talking heads at Faux "news." They've been doing the bidding of industry lobbyists like Richard Berman for a very long time now and there's no sign of them stopping any time soon.
