The anti-federal government zealots and militias have found a hero in Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who now says he wants the fight to continue to disarm all federal bureaucrats.

The anti-federal government zealots and militias have found a hero in Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who has defied the feds for twenty years and then engaged in a dangerous standoff with the Bureau of Land Management. Since the BLM backed down he's now making the most of it.

Sean Hannity asked him on Monday Night if he had a response to Sen. Harry Reid, who said that it's not over.

Hannity: Harry Reid just spoke tonight and he said well, it's not over, quote “We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.” What is your response to Harry Reid?

Bundy: I don't have a response to Harry Reid, but I have a response to every sheriff acroos the United States, every county sheriff: disarm the federal bureaucrats. Take the federal United states bureaucrats guns away. That's my message today.

We didn't have a county sheriff, we didn't have a state government and We The People marched and the BLM backed down.

These state's rights lunatics are getting more dangerous by the second and I'm afraid some real violence is going to be instigated by them shortly as they feel emboldened with the help of Fox News, Sean Hannity, Drudge and the Alex Jones fanatics.

Hannity pushed them further by making it seem like they are saints just minding their own business when the feds swooped down upon them for nothing so the Bundy's continued with their revolutionary talk:

I think We the people have spoken, haven't we?

...they wanted to show the American people and the world that they had unlimited power and they had taken over state sovereignty, our Nevada laws, our public lands. You think they took it over? They might have took over our Clark County sheriff, but they never took over We the People, the sovereign people of this nation and we're standing and we're going to stand until we take the guns away from those bureaucracies and then we'll start making America great one more time.

Digby noted the other day how much they hated being tasered.

Last week there was a great brouhaha on the right over a western land stand-off with the BLM over grazing rights. Federal agents moved in and tasered some protesters who, in this case, are nice white people in cowboy hats. Republican politicians howled, calling it akin to Tianenmen Square.

But this happens every day to people all over the country who try to assert their rights to a policemen or a judge, people who are mentally ill, who legally protesting their government or other institutions, or are simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is used against people who are handcuffed and on the ground, it's used against deaf people who cannot hear the policeman's command, it's used against epileptics in the throes of a seizure, it is used against bedridden 90 year old ladies suffering from delusions. It is used against people who refuse to be taken to a hospital.

No sh*t, tasers are being abused by law enforcement all the time, but it's OK if it's only liberals, sports fanw, the homeless and the mentally ill that are tortured with tasers, but when it happens to the right, watch how they whine.
