TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie's campaign manager was "kept in the loop" about "a lot of stuff" by two of the people believed to be responsible for closing local access lanes to the George Washington Bridge last year, according to a prominent Democratic state senator.

Sen. Loretta Weinberg (D-Bergen) told NorthJersey.com that messages involving Bill Stepien, which are expected to be made public today, "do not contain anything earthshattering" about the closures that snarled traffic around Fort Lee for several days in September.
