Yesterday, Stephen Colbert masterfully made a point about Redskins owner Dan Snyder refusing to change the team’s name but starting a foundation to help Native Americans in his usual satirical way.
In a 2011 interview with Telegraph, Colbert said of his character, “I do the show in character — and he’s an idiot.” He explained that he draws his persona from the morons in the media, like Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, and Joe Scarbrough.
