On Saturday workers at a Chicago McDonald’s rallied around Carmen Navarette, a 9 year veteran of McDonald’s who says a member of management told her to ‘put a bullet’ in her head when she asked if she could go home following a ‘diabetic episode.’
Fast food workers, a number of city Aldermen, members of the Workers Organizing Committee of Chicago, fellow fast food workers, and other members of the community showed up to the Rock N’ Roll McDonald’s at around 2 p.m.
