A Virgo Full Moon rises this afternoon. As she peaks in her lunar cycle, emotional tides fluctuate. Vulnerabilities are stirred, causing soulful cravings to float to the surface. The possibility to react and defend ourselves can increase; should we lack awareness or self-control.

The Virgo Full Moon delivers a brilliant light that guides us onto a well-lit path. As we walk in this light.. what had been hidden in the midst of the darkness, shadows, and secrets; shall be revealed. If we’re acquainted with the sensitivity of this energy, as well as conscious of our surroundings, we’ll stumble upon some much needed answers – when we’re genuinely available to listen.

There is no enlightenment outside of daily life. Thich Nhat Hanh

We’ll be pulled in two separate directions under the Full Moon’s influence. While we hold onto to what is easy and feels safe, we’ll receive a calling that requests that we reach outside of our comfort zone. This opposition between the dreamy Pisces Sun (Father) and the practical Virgo Moon (Mother) will require some flexibility, as well as adjustment if we are to relate with others comfortably.

With the Full Moon quincunx Mars retrograde, our fuel is low, and our energy level is on emergency reserve. So as we release our own individual truth today, will we react and defend? Or will we create something good and beautiful by going with the flow? With Mars retrograde in Libra (relationships, partnerships) and Saturn retrograde in Scorpio (death, transformation), we can experience what we’re holding onto, that supports inner walls of resistance – while limiting our potential and growth (Jupiter Direct). This is a fine time to stop in our tracks, so that we can remove, reshape, and restructure. We can create great movement, when we bleed within. As we do so, we can re-energize our own mojo, while bringing our passion and pursuits back to life.

The most fundamental aggression to ourselves, the most fundamental harm we can do to ourselves, is to remain ignorant by not having the courage and the respect to look at ourselves honestly and gently. Pema Chödrön

Mercury (thoughts, communications) will move from sharp Aquarius to sympathetic Pisces on Monday, so the way we look at our world during the next three weeks will slowly shift and soften. In the meantime, be like the Full Moon; Move past what internally dims our true inner shine. Allow compassion and understanding to be of service to others, but also to ourselves. Wishing you a blessed Full Moon!
