The Aries New Moon is Sunday’s cosmic event, which powerfully internalizes our emotions and our ego. While some us can feel uncomfortable, fatigued, or unsettled with outside energies during this time, it is suggested that we take some quality time for ourselves, to understand what we’re actually experiencing. With this conjunction between Moon (, sensitivities, mother) and Sun (identity, father), our sacred center harmonizes. We’re taking control to soothe the needs of our heart.
During the quiet time that we take with ourselves and the New Moon, it is in our favor to sit quietly and meditate on our New Moon Blessings. Ask ‘What do I want?’, then listen for an answer. Ask ‘What do I need?’, then listen for the answer. Waves of emotions will be stirred during this time of waiting, including various thoughts and imagination. What we’re most naturally drawn to, will eventually surrender and rise to surface. This forms our seeds of intention, which will be planted into the universe. Keep separate from distractions during your quiet time, so that our heart can send off positive vibrations for whatver we may wish for.
I am the miracle. Buddha
Aries is sign of the brave pioneer, feeding a need for passion and adventure. This is the firewalker, warrior who fearlessly steps ahead, before the rest, to get something started. This energy is highly charged with rocket fuel and magic for inner awakening. If we genuinely crave a new way or fresh beginning, we can embrace our potential and inner power – by doing what we need to do – to make it happen.
At the same time, the Aries New Moon is very reactive with a lot of testosterone. We’ll be quick to step-up and fight for our own selfish cravings, because ‘I, ME, MY, and MINE’ are of the most importance. And should we fail to re-enforce our own enthusiasm and drive for life – we’ll save our skin by blaming someone else.
I do my thing and you do yours. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, then it is beautiful. If not, it can’t be helped. Frederick Perls
So what we may hope to display – or improve – will require a shift from our own inner core – especially with Aries ruler Mars and Saturn both retrograde. Otherwise, old misunderstandings will be revived, along with unresolved issues. The darker side of Aries will come out to instigate heated debates, aggressive threats, and sometimes even violence – to feed our egos and needs.
Fiery energy is intensely magnified and heavily explosive for big changes as bravehearted Aries Moon conjuncts a feisty Aries Sun and rebellious Uranus in Aries, with a square to ‘bigger than life’ Jupiter in Cancer and to transformative Pluto in Capricorn. Much of this is a build-up as to what lies ahead as chaotic disruptions are delivered by April’s Eclipses and Cardinal Grand Cross. And without delicate footing to where we tread in the weeks ahead, major breakdowns and break-ups will lead the way… or major breakthroughs are possible if we’re willing to conquer our own self-importance.
I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions. Stephen Covey
So depending on which image needs to displayed, look into your own reflection to understand if yor intentions and behavior are that of a HERO or the VILLIAN. In this mini self-exam, we’ll be able to create new options that can help us to pave a less bumpy road - by strengthening our weaknesses – without placing expectations or judgment onto others.
What if that person – the most difficult person in your life – is actually your highest teacher? What if that person is the person that was put in your life to help you? The meaning of spirituality is not to make you sleep better, but to awake you, and you will not awake if your dream is comfortable. Anonymous
Take your time to think about this, but if you could write a personal New Moon message or affirmation, how would you translate what your heart is craving.. in just two simple words? Whatever words you come up with, will be your inspirational phrase for your New Moon intention. Aries is all about conquering fears and taking action, so if you choose to courageously walk barefoot across the hot fiery coals in the weeks ahead, stay focused on the goal, not the distractions, with those two powerful words as your personal mantra.
On a personal note… thank you for your inquiries and personal thoughts regarding the earthquake last night. I don’t always have the time and energy to personally connect with each of you individually, but I’ve listened. As some of you may already be aware, I ‘intuitively’ experience storms and earth shifts, like a tuning fork. I log information as data on my blog 'Earth Speaks' as earthy events take place within a few days or a few hours.
With the challenging skies ahead in April, there is a strong potential that there will be a major change in our weather system and earth’s foundation. ‘Major shake-up’ is the theme. To avoid giving in to anxiety and fear of any sort, preparation and balance should be sought, so I thought I’d share a few personal thoughts.
FYI – Whether we’re frightened by the stories of sun flares, a grid failure, earthquakes, wind storms, or a simple power failure from a lightening storm… we should ALL have some sort of an emergency back up system. If we plan accordingly; either with a generator, or with an emergency box filled with flashlights, batteries, candles and lighters for heat and light, along with extra containers of water, boxed food and canned items for food, basic medical supplies, and the right weather gear – we can help to settle our own mind. In case of an emergency, communications by text are said to be more reliable, since an overload of phone calls may limit availability. Weather apps can also be helpful with what is brewing.
The fact is, that IF and WHEN Mother Nature decides to strike… none of will be able to stop it from happening. The only thing we can do is prepare. To simply hope for the best and rely on the government, the police, an ambulance, or anyone else for help is not the answer. Learn to participate in simple survival basics. Knowledge is power. Keep it somewhere safe, preferably in a resealable plastic storage bag – to avoid damage from wetness. After preparation, practice meditation and learn stillness to quiet your worries and nervous anxieties.
Wishing you a blessed New Moon.
