You had to be up at 7:30 am eastern to see it, but those who got up got to see the game of the Olympic hockey tournament so far. The US and Russia played a tight, back-and-forth affair that saw brilliance and controversy. In the end, thanks to goalie Jonathan Quick and forward TJ Oshie, the US came away with a 3-2 shootout win.

Russia got on the board first in the second period on a brilliant Pavel Datsyuk goal, but the US answered seven minutes later with a power play tally from Cam Fowler. The US took the lead in the third on a goal by Joe Pavelski, set up by a perfect pass by Patrick Kane...
