Gov. Chris Christie has lost his frontrunner status for the

2016 GOP presidential nomination, at least among Ohio voters, a new poll has

found.

The Quinnipiac University poll shows former Secretary of
State Hillary Clinton running away with the Ohio votes in head to head matchups
with seven different Republicans, including Christie.

While a November poll showed the New Jersey governor in a
dead heat with Clinton in the swing state, Christie has now fallen 13 points
behind the Democratic frontrunner  - 49 percent
to 36 percent.
