The failure of former Port Authority of New York and New
Jersey official David Wildstein to answer questions at yesterday's Assembly
Transportation committee hearing left lawmakers frustrated and questioning
Wildstein's reluctance to talk.

Rather than shedding light on the details surrounding the
diversion of lanes at the George Washington Bridge last September as committee
Chairman John Wisniewski had hoped, Wildstein asserted his rights under the
U.S. Constitution's 5th Amendment, which guards against self incrimination.
