Here's one from an all-time great. This one is from his first solo album, which is often overshadowed by its more popular follow-ups Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere and After the Gold Rush. However, it was still a solid effort to kick off Young's highly successful solo career. While very few tracks from this album saw the light of day after his career took off, "The Loner" became a staple in his live set for many years to come. Here's a performance of the tune off of his seminal live album, Rust Never Sleeps.
