Blues-infused Detroit garage rock is probably the most appropriate term for the music of The White Stripes. Even though they've been broken up for over two years, their music is still classic. They had a pretty good run, considering the band's performance career lasted for 14 years and ended on good terms. However, all good things must come to an end, but the good news is that they left behind lots of great music for us to enjoy. This particular song comes off of their third album, White Blood Cells, which was released during a transitional period for The White Stripes, just as their sound was becoming more modern and mature. The album, or better yet, their entire catalog is a must-listen for any fan of blues rock.
