Radiohead never released this on an album, but "The Daily Mail" is definitely one of the stronger tracks that they've put out in the past few years. This is also definitely one of their better performances, considering how the dynamics shift so seamlessly and subtly throughout each section of the song. Even though it starts out with nothing but some quiet piano and vocals, by the end you have the whole band and a full horn section on top of that. A lot of their recent non-album releases have featured some fairly dense arrangements, as well as some minimalist ones to provide contrast. This dichotomy in their sound could lead to many different musical directions on their next album, and it'd be interesting to see which one they choose.
