You might know Alison Mosshart from her project with Jack White, The Dead Weather. However, her main project, The Kills, is a two piece effort consisting of her and guitarist Jamie Hince. Although there are only two of them, they are no less capable of putting on an intense performance than any band with a full of rhythm section. With both members being multi-instrumentalists and making use of techniques like looping, they are able to apply a raw, powerful take on a minimalist arrangement.
