Funkadelic always knew how to bring the funk, heck, they even wrote a song about it. Fronted by George Clinton, Parliament-Funkadelic has seen many members come and go, but the group has managed to keep it together for 45 years (despite being forced to merge upon the dissolution of the original, separate bands). As for this song, it's just P-Funk doing what it does best, making a great, funky dance tune. A highlight of the song is Michael Hampton's guitar solo, which is now considered a landmark of his career and makes you want to dance even more, as if you didn't already.
