This Week with George Stephanopoulos notes the deaths of five service members in Afghanistan:

US Army SPC Kenneth Clifford Alvarez, 23, Santa Maria, CA
US Army PVT Jonathon Michael Dean Hostetter, 20, Humphreys, MO
US Army 1LT Jason Togi, 24, Pago Pago, American Samoa
US Army SFC Ricardo D Young, 34, Rosston, AR
US Army SSG Michael H Ollis, 24, Staten Island, NY

According to iCasualties, the total number of service members killed in Afghanistan is now 3,371.

In addition, the following notable names lost their lives this week:

Journalist David Frost, 74
NJ politician Jack Sinagra, 63
Actor Gerard Murphy, 64
Actor Murray Gershenz, 91
Poet/Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney, 74
