We've gone over this again and again. As much as it kills me to defend Attorney General Eric Holder and for as much as I would actually like to see some sensible gun control legislation, there is no there there. None.

So what the hell is wrong with these craven so-called Democrats who voted to hold Holder in criminal Contempt of Congress?

Let me clue you in, people: the NRA will still campaign against you. Rather than standing up as a party and walking out with the Congressional Black Caucus in protest, like Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer , you made a craven political calculation and as a result, you have tripled the contempt in Washington. You voted to hold Holder in contempt. No matter your actions, the NRA and its members will continue to view you with contempt because Republicans will continue to play these little games that Democrats are coming after Americans' guns. And now, more importantly for you, you have the contempt of voting members of your own party too.
