I wasn't going to comment on this story for obvious reasons, but since all these Polanski apologists are surfacing everywhere I just wanted to say: He drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl and then skipped town. Sorry, there's no excusing that, ever.
And I agree with what Duncan says.
And as usual, Glenn Greenwald catches and exposes the Washington Post editors for being hypocrites on this whole issue, because their columnists defend him as badly as some of those from the creative world do.
