The Daily Show's Jon Stewart took a few jabs at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for his dire warnings about whether changing the rules will come back to haunt Democrats should they find themselves back in the minority in the senate.

After first taking the media to task for the use of the term "nuclear option" to describe allowing the Senate to do their jobs and to finally allow some of the presidential appointments they've been holding up to get through, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart took a few jabs at Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell for his dire warnings about whether changing the rules will come back to haunt them.

After mocking McConnell for attempting to just adjourn the senate rather than vote, Stewart continued:

STEWART: Actually, Sen. McConnell, he did try to make a more substantive case against this filibuster amending.

MCCONNELL: I realize this sort of wishful thinking might appeal to the uninitiated newcomers in the Democratic conference who've served exactly zero days in the minority, but the rest of you guys in the conference should know better.

Those of you who've been in the minority before should know better.

STEWART: Mark my words! One day you Democrats will want to be obstructionist assholes making a mockery of our system of government. And who’ll be laughing then? Turtle Man.
