Jon Stewart let the House Republicans have it for trying to pretend they aren't the ones who wanted to shut down the government, despite the fact that they've been bragging openly about wanting to do just that for some time now.

After apologizing for referring to Republican lawmakers as “morons” and “dunderheads” on Wednesday night, Daily Show host Jon Stewart vowed to treat them even more harshly, particularly for refusing to accept their role in causing the shuttering of federal government offices.
“When did the Big Government Democrats become the No-Government Democrats, you self-righteous Orwellian zebra queefs?” Stewart asked after consulting his big book of insults.
Stewart also called on Republicans to stop trying to “photo-op” their way into sidestepping responsibility when it was widely reported that 80 House Republicans signed and sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner threatening to defund the government in an effort to stop the Affordable Care Act.
Looking at a picture of Eric Cantor and his group of alleged congressional committee delegates, Stewart remarked, “Actually, that group looks like the Republican Congressional Committee for Women’s Health Issues.
