Better call the waambulance! The talking heads over at Fox are terribly upset that President Obama was being mean to them after refusing to give in on their hostage taking with the government shutdown and raising the debt ceiling.

Fox regular Steve Forbes joined Cavuto guest host Stuart Varney to complain about President Obama's comments this Thursday, where he told Republicans that they should go out there and "win an election" if they want to overturn the Affordable Care Act.

Of course, they failed to play the second half of his statement where he mentioned not burning the place down to the ground to get your way:

In a statement hailing the deal that re-opened the government and raised the debt ceiling, Obama said that the Republican-led movement to halt the health care law — an effort that led to the shutdown and brought the United States close to default — was unfaithful "to what this country's about."

"You don't like a particular policy or a particular president? Then argue for your position. Go out there and win an election. Push to change it," Obama said. "But don't break it. Don't break what our predecessors spent over two centuries building. That's not being faithful to what this country's about."

Varney opened up the segment by asking Forbes, "After a bruising battle, is this the way to bring the two parties together?" Here we go again with them trying to pretend that if President Obama just acted a little bit nicer to the Republicans, they might be willing to work with him.

FORBES: He can't help himself. He always loves to rub us when he wins a victory, rub his opponents' faces in the dirt. That's fine in a football game, doing a spike or something like that, but when you are President of the United States trying to get something done, especially on a tight schecule, this is not the way you go about it.

I think this underscores, this president does not want big things to be done, unless it's his own big things. He wants to set up for the 2014 congressional election, and that means conflict and hoping to put the Republicans back on their backs again as he did yesterday.

Cry me a freaking river. After the damage they just did to our economy, the mild chiding by President Obama is the least they deserve. I want to know how they plan to pay us back for the $25 billion they just flushed down the toilet with their hostage taking?

Republicans don't care one iota about actually governing, but they do have the feigned victimhood act down pat.
