We've already discussed the IRS non-scandal which has been drummed up by Rep. Darrell Issa and the fact that it should have been put to rest ofter Rep. Elijah Cummings released the full transcripts of their interviews conducted with IRS employees. Stephen Colbert decided to tackle the subject on this Monday evening's show and his harshest criticism was aimed at CNN, who, even after being fully aware that there was no there, there with this drummed up mess, decided to "report" that half of their viewers still believe that the White House was involved in the decision to target these "tea party" groups.

Colbert went after all of cable news for worrying way too much about polls and what their viewers think on social media, but CNN rightfully got hit the hardest for what Colbert coined as "truthinews" during his Word segment.
