Bill Maher released yet another clip of Christine O'Donnell from Politically Incorrect in 1999. Apparently witchcraft wasn't the only thing she "dabbled in" before turning to Christianity.
O’Donnell: I was dabbling into every other kind of religion before I became a Christian…
Maher: You were a witch.
O’Donnell: I was. I was…
Maher: You were.
O’Donnell: I was dabbling in witchcraft. I’d dabbled in Buddhism. I would have become a Hare Krishna but I didn't want to become a vegetarian and that is honestly the reason why because I'm Italian, I love meatballs.
Maher: Boy are you spiritual.
Last week Bill played the clip of O'Donnell saying that evolution is a myth.
The week prior it was the clip of her saying she'd dabbled into witchcraft but never joined a coven.
I wonder what Bill's got in store for us next week?
UPDATE: The New York Times has an article on O'Donnell which was brought to my attention and apparently her father was Bozo the Clown and her sister is a lesbian. You just can't make this stuff up with the punch lines that might ensue if you tried. You can read the whole article here.
