Former Obama economic advisor Austan Goolsbee found out the hard way this Wednesday what happens when you dare try to call Fox's Sean Hannity out for fearmongering and lying to his viewers about the Affordable Care Act -- you get talked over.
After Hannity and his other guest, former Bush spokespuppet Ari Fleischer continued spreading more lies about the health care law, claiming it's going to raise premiums and that Fleischer's 80 year old mother supposedly had her health insurance dropped due to the Affordable Care Act, Goolsbee managed to get a word in edgewise and mention the fact-checking which debunked the lies he and his guests were telling last week. True to form, Hannity decided the best way to deal with that was just to interrupt him, talk over him, and then allow Fleischer to keep talking as well.
I don't know why Democrats agree to come on Hannity's show at all when this is the treatment you're going to get if you dare to try to tell the truth on there.
