New discoveries in the area of Scandinavian/French electronica/folk/pop/experimental tonight from Mai. Based in Paris, Mai consist of the wildly intoxicating voice of Johanna Wedin along with Dorian Dumont and Fred Fortuny and are as yet unsigned but already have one album and an ep out and have been a regular feature on the underground club scene in Paris and Berlin the past couple of years.
Tonight's track, Our Ghosts comes from their 2010 ep Silent Seduction and it's worth checking out their MySpace page as well as their ReverbNation page for more of their stuff and to keep plugged in on what they're doing. I suspect a lot in the coming months.
