Little Sister - big brother was in there too

Ending up our week of Soul, Little Sister (Vaetta Stewart, the "little sister" to Sylvester (Sly) Stewart) with their 1970 hit Somebody's Watching You. This was a follow up to their earlier hit You're The One. Originally a Sly & the Family Stone hit off their 1969 album Stand, Somebody's Watching You wound up being a hit for the younger Stewart sibling and kept it all in the family, with Sly producing. Interesting factoid - this track was the first record to hit the American pop charts that used an electronic drum machine as their primary rhythm source.

Now you know.
