Occupy San Diego protesters are criticizing local police for using what they say was unnecessary force against a man who was recording the officers' activities.

Video taken and uploaded to YouTube shows five officers approaching two men in sleeping bags, and asking one to put out the cigarette he was smoking and stand up.

As an officer handcuffs the man smoking the cigarette, other officers approach a man with a camera, force him to the ground and arrest him.

An officer on camera is shown telling Davidovich and others, "Stay back folks. You can do all the filming you want. Just stay back. Stay back there. That's why he's being arrested."

At the same time, police can be seen on the video arresting a third man, and an officer can be heard saying, "Stop resisting. Stop resisting!"
