Meet the Mars Rover's big sister, "LADEE." On Friday night, NASA launched the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) to the moon to conduct research on the lunar atmosphere and dust. The spacecraft is the first to be launched from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, and will be visible from the coasts of North Carolina to Maine starting around 11:27 p.m. EST. If you missed it, NASA's Instagram has some incredible photographs.
