This is Emma's Revolution singing "Occupy the USA" live at the Tar Sands Rally at the State Department hearing, in Washington, DC in October of last year.

Emma's Revolution, activist singer-songwriters Sandy O and Pat Humphries spend over 200 days a year sharing their music for various causes around the world. Last November, the duo released their third studio album Revolutions Per Minute, itself a journey through a multitude of genres from folk to funk. Every song has a story, whether it be "Stand Together" written and performed in solidarity with Wisconsinites protesting against Republican Governor Scott Walker's anti-unionism or "Let's Go Swimming" which speaks of a cold dip in Chesapeake Bay as part of an organized effort highlighting the looming specter of global warming.

You can download this song on the Emma's Revolution website, here, read the complete lyrics, and get more information about this wonderful and talented pair of female activists.

We support our unions and our right to organize
Students, homeless, immigrants are strengthening their ties
We have struggled far too long now let this be a sign
1% in power
Meet the other 99!

Welcome to the US occupation
To win the hearts and minds
Defend all humankind
Tell the banks and the corporations
We're here to occupy the USA
Democratize the USA
We're here to occupy the USA!
