Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich campaigned in Hawaii over the weekend. Honolulu TV station KHON reported that the former Speaker drew a "packed house" to the Door of Faith church in Wailuku Saturday. He was expected to campaign in Maui on Monday.
Gingrich and his wife Callista are celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary during the trip. It is Gingrich's third marriage.
Several members of his staff resigned in June after the candidate took a break from campaigning to go on a cruise with his wife in Greece.
