Remember when taking vacations helped our leaders make better decisions?

"I think the people want the president to be in a position to make good, crisp decisions and to stay healthy," Bush said during an Aug. 13 bike ride with journalists at his ranch. "And part of my being is to be outside exercising. So I'm mindful of what goes on around me. On the other hand, I'm also mindful that I've got a life to live, and will do so."

Well, that was the case when Mr. Most Vacation Days In Presidential History was in office. You know, the guy who racked up over 1,000 vacation days despite facing 9/11, two wars, multiple international crises, Hurricane Katrina, and the worst financial crash since the Great Depression,

So please, wingnuts: enough of the vacation outrage.
