Lauren Boebert Challenger Trolls Her From Her Beetlejuice Seat
June 23, 2024

An interesting way of drawing attention to yourself, for sure. John Padora may not win the Democratic primary in Colorado's 4th district on June 25 but at least he'll be remembered for something.

"I'm sitting in the very same seat that Lauren Boebert got kicked out of, the same way she got kicked out of Colorado's 3rd Congressional District," Padora said.

A Democrat hoping to face off against Lauren Boebert in the race for Colorado's 4th district has released a campaign video showing him in the same theater seat the MAGA congresswoman was ejected from.

In September 2023, Boebert was widely criticized after she was removed from a performance of Beetlejuice at Denver's Buell Theater for vaping and being too loud during the show. Video also showed Boebert and the man she was on a date with groping each other in their seats while watching the musical.

John Padora, who is among three candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for the seat left vacant by Republican Ken Buck, released the video filmed at the Denver theater while asking for donations to help beat the "opportunistic carpetbagger" Boebert.

Boebert currently represents Colorado's 3rd District but is running for the state's more Republican-friendly 4th District in November. Boebert only won reelection to the 3rd district in 2022 by 546 votes, with her Democratic challenger Adam Frisch running for the seat he narrowly lost again this year.

Padora has now used the controversy of Boebert getting escorted from the Beetlejuice performance as an attack line for his campaign.
