Republican Betsy McCaughey, who helped destroy President Clinton's healthcare plans was laughed at several times on CNN after she whined that the Biden administration was referring to Trump as a convicted felon.
At first McCaughey wanted Gov. Kathy Hochul to pardon Trump and call a magical truce of some kind that was initiated by idiot Dr. Phil's interview with Diminished Donald. .
"For that to happen, Biden has to call Governor Kathy Hochul and ask her to pardon Trump," McCaughey declared.
CNN's Abby Phillip explained how the justice system is helping Trump delay his other court cases, which is working to his advantage.
PHILLIP: Let me point out. Let me submit to Trump cases yesterday that were effectively put on hold indefinitely. That happened, too. That is the legal system working in Trump's favor.
MCCAUGHEY: Right, right, but back to this one.
LOUIS: Oh, you don't want to talk about that.
MCCAUGHEY: Well, I do want to talk about it for this reason, because every day now, the Biden administration is labeling Trump a convicted felon. Very interesting.
PHILLIP: That's a fact. (The CNN hosts burst out in laughter.)
MCCAUGHEY: No.
PHILLIP: That is a fact. He is now a convicted felon.
Trump defenders come up with all sorts of harebrained and insane ideas to apologize for Trump's many immoral and criminal actions. Then they demand that Democrats bend the knee and forgive Trump his many sins in order to be the bigger, more merciful people.
The MAGA cult will never call a truce or decide to become more inclusive, so any attempt to come to an agreement is pointless. But beyond that, why on earth should such an agreement even be contemplated? Trump committed the crimes, and he's been held accountable for his very real interference in the 2016 election now. There is absolutely no reason to pardon Trump. It was Nixon's pardon by Gerald Ford that led directly to the place we are now. Republicans have been committing crimes and getting away with them for a very, very long time.
