Libertarians unloaded on Donald Trump on Saturday night, and it was incredible to hear all of the boos and heckling the Republican candidate had to endure. Meanwhile, Trump had to stand there and take it. Most of us never imagined we'd be cheering on the Libertarians, but these are strange times. I've always thought of them as soulless creatures, and that's apparently what they think of Trump, who stuck us with crippling national debt, the bombing of Syria, and the one-term former President failed to implement mitigation strategies for inflation (which was inevitable after the worldwide pandemic), among other things.

Interestingly, it's Republicans who blame President Joe Biden for things that happened under Trump's watch. Libertarians, though, weren't going to take his shit. After the relentless booing of Donald J. Trump, Libertarian presidential candidate Dr. Mike ter Maat took to the podium to finish the former reality show star off and blame him for the national debt and inflation.

"Donald Trump was the guy in the White House when we bombed Syria," he said. "He's that Republican."

"He was the guy in the White House when we drove our national debt over 30 trillion dollars because he is that Republican," Mike ter Maat continued. "He's the guy that presided over a record-setting amount of inflation because he tolerates it; he refuses to make the changes necessary because he is that Republican."

Ladies and friends of ladies, we have less access to abortion than we did when I was a teenager. Trump bragged about overturning Roe. Trump set all of this in motion. He is that Republican. Libertarians are not anti-choice. I'm only surprised that Trump didn't attempt to claim that he's pro-choice in front of the Libertarian crowd. At least Libertarians are clear on their issues. Trump will support what he perceives as popular, then he backtracks. He doesn't believe in anything.
