Fox News host Sean Hannity told his radio audience that since he doesn't trust the government to handle Social Security and Medicare it should be privatized.
Hannity always trusts the government explicitly when a Republican takes charge.
Why so many of our fellow Americans trust the government that never put Social Security money in a lockbox, that have now brought it to the brink of insolvency and Medicare to the brink of insolvency? The same people that promised you'd keep your doctor and your plan and save on average $2,500 a year; millions and millions lost their doctor's plans, and we're paying about 250% more than we were before. In many cases, much more.
Why people put their faith, their hope, their trust, their belief in a government with a track record of failure? I don't know. You know, how would you grade government run schools? You know, how are the school districts doing in most big cities today? Not that well. What grade would you give the government in terms of their ability to keep Americans safe and secure? I wouldn't give them a very high score. To me, they get a failing grade on all these issues.
Hannity should be attacking the man he advises since it was Trump's tax cuts that hurt Medicare and Social Security the most.
Republicans are running on cutting Social Security and Medicare so everybody better wake the f**k up and do it now before it's too late.
Life expectancy in the United States has been lowered to 76.33 years as of 2021.
Republicans want to take your money, the money you worked all those years for, give it to their Wall Street buddies, while they raise the retirement age to 70.
How's six years of retirement sound to you, because that's probably all they'll let you have.
Republicans never learn. They went through this charade in 2005 after George W. Bush won re-election, who thought he had political capital to spend and got it shoved down his throat.
