Nikki Haley won the Washington D.C. Republican primary, and Donald Trump is taking it about as well as you would expect. On Truth Social, Trump, of course, childishly called his rival "Birdbrain" and said there was no "upside" to competing in the race. And Trump's campaign press secretary took to X to describe Haley as the "Queen of the Swamp" after her win. Huh. I wonder what she thinks of Trump for living there for four long years.
Lumpy says he lost D.C. on purpose.
"I purposely stayed away from the D.C. Vote because it is the "Swamp," with very few delegates, and no upside," he wrote. "Birdbrain spent all of her time, money and effort there. Over the weekend we won Missouri, Idaho, and Michigan - BIG NUMBERS - Complete destruction of a very weak opponent. The really big numbers will come on Super Tuesday. Also, WAY UP ON CROOKED JOE!"
Of course, Trump called Haley a loser following her win.
"Birdbrain is a loser, record low performance in virtually every State," he continued. "DeSanctus easily beat her in Iowa for a VERY DISTANT second place, and then she ran up to the podium, before he had a chance to do so, and claimed victory."
"I enjoy watching the Bird disavow her PLEDGE to the RNC and her statement that she would NEVER run against President Trump ("A great President")," he added. "Well, she ran, she lied, and she LOST BIG!"
Haley won all of the 19 delegates from D.C., and she is the first woman to win a Republican primary in U.S. history. Unfortunately, she has also said she would pardon Trump if she wins the presidency. And as extreme as she is on issues such as abortion, Trump is even worse. What I'm saying here is that both candidates suck, but only one wants to be a dictator.
