Iowa Republicans told America Monday night that they either don't know or don't care that their presidential preference has been bestowed on a man who pushed E. Jean Carroll to the floor of a department store dressing room and penetrated her against her will, according to a jury.
Not to mention 91 indictments, $7.8 million in emoluments (so far), and one highly classified binder of Russian interference evidence thrown to the wind in the final days of his last administration. And then there's January 6, where 1,265 defendants have been charged with crimes, including four guilty pleas for the crime of seditious conspiracy against the United States.
Iowa Republicans, heavily white and heartily evangelical, picked that guy.
