Irony just died again this Sunday when Jim Jordan told Fox's Maria Bartiromo how terribly serious it is for someone not to comply with a Congressional subpoena. As House Republicans prepare to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for refusing to appear behind closed doors last month, Bartiromo asked Jordan what we an expect next.
Of course Jordan responded by recycling some long debunked nonsense about the Devon Archer testimony, Burisma, and another rerun of the Viktor Shokin Ukraine disinformation campaign we've seen over and over again on Fox.
House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) said Sunday that the “most damning evidence” to date in the House’s investigation of President Joe Biden came from a witness who flatly denied knowing of any wrongdoing on Biden’s part.
In an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, anchor Maria Bartiromo asked Jordan to cite the “most damning evidence” House Republicans have uncovered in their investigation thus far. The Ohio congressman replied by citing the testimony of Devon Archer — a Hunter Biden business associate.
“The most damning evidence thus far is what we got from Devon Archer — Hunter Biden’s business partner,” Jordan said. “Because he says what they were selling was the brand. Remember, there’s no business here. They’re selling access to the brand. The brand is the big guy. The brand is Joe Biden. Devon Archer said that.” [...]
Jordan also told Bartiromo, “I always say there are four fundamental facts: Fact number one, Hunter Biden gets put on the board of this company. Fact number two, he’s not qualified — e said so himself. Fact number three is that he’s asked by the leaders of this company to weigh in with D.C. and his father to help them deal with the pressure they are under. Fact number four, Joe Biden goes to Ukraine and conditions the release of American tax dollars to Ukraine on the firing of the prosecutor, who was applying the very pressure to this company, Burisma, the Hunter Biden sat on the board of.”
They never get tired of telling the same lies no matter how many times they're fact-checked. What's pathetic is the rest of our corporate media isn't much better than Fox when it comes to allowing them to spread these falsehoods. They're incapable of governing, so this is the crap we're going to be treated to from now until the election.
