Fox News co-host Emily Compagno had a desperate reaction over the news that former President Donald Trump was removed from the Colorado ticket because of the insurrection clause, thus excluding his name from the state's Republican presidential primary ballot.
In all of her brilliance, Compagno argued that people would be mad if that happened. Problem solved! Put Lumpy back on the ballot because people will be mad.
"All this will do is make everyone mad and remind everyone why activist judges hold no place in our democracy, and for some reason, they are continuing to flourish under this administration," she insisted.
If she's upset over activist judges, wait until she hears about the conservative-leaning Supreme Court. It will blow her mind. They overturned a woman's right to bodily autonomy. She should look into that.
The U.S. Supreme Court will likely take up the 4-3 ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court, and then Clarence Thomas can buy a new RV. This would make Trump the first presidential candidate deemed ineligible for the White House under the constitutional provision that bars officials who have engaged in "insurrection or rebellion" from holding office. Whether this historic decision holds or not, we'll see.
You know what makes me mad? When Trump incited a coup d'etat to cling to power after losing the election legitimately to Joe Biden. Yeah, that made me really mad as they stormed our Capitol's corridors looking for blood.
