This video was made seven years ago and it's still spot on. Actually, if anything, things have gotten worse. Black Fridays used to start earlier and earlier each yearr until it actually started on Thanksgiving. Finally, retailers got enough clapback that they stopped that so that they could give their employees the day to spend with their families, y'know, out of the goodness of their corporate heart. But now, Black Friday runs the whole month of Novemeber.

Personally, I never shop on Thanksgiving Day because of my union background. But I also don't shop on Black Fridays because I'm not batshit crazy. Who needs all that stress?
