Matt Flegenheimer and Maggie Haberman did a piece for the New York Times on former NYC Mayor and Trump bootlicker Rudy Giuliani's alleged drinking problem. There have been rumors about Rudy's appetite for booze for quite a while, even before he booked a press conference at Four Seasons Total Landscaping, which is situated between a crematorium and a sex shop. Giuliani denies the allegations.

"Thank you, everybody," he said. "It's a typical New York Times malicious lie. I do not have an alcohol problem. I have never had an alcohol problem."

"And the reason I told you what I achieved is nobody could have achieved that if they did," Rudy continued. "When the hell was I drinking? I was working 24 hours a day."

"It's a big damn lie by a newspaper that's a disgrace," he insisted. "And by a reporter who covered me, used to cover me very, very, in a very glowing way. And now it's vicious and mean in what she does."

A staffer appeared to want to end the presser and said, "Thank you," but Giuliani silenced him, saying, "It's my press conference."

"Vicious and mean," he added. "And if it weren't for the protections that the press gets, with Times Against Sullivan, I mean, she should be sued for libel. She should also be thrown out of the profession for being a damn liar."

According to the New York Times, people in Giuliani's orbit have been worried about his drinking for years.

Giuliani announced plans to sue President Joe Biden over his comments during a 2020 presidential debate when he called Giuliani a "Russian pawn."

In 2020, The Daily Beast reported that Giuliani said there was a "no better than a 50/50" chance that an indicted Russian Agent Andrii Derkach, who worked with Giuliani on his hunt for dirt on the Bidens and was an "active Russian agent."

Rudy, go home. You're drunk.
