Astros fans were begging Cruz not to attend the all-important game 7 at home. He ignored them. Astros lost 11-4. And the Astros were 0-5 when Cruz attended a game this postseason.

There's at least one thing the Houston Astros can count on during the postseason: Sen. Ted Cruz is going to show up for home games at Minute Maid Park — regardless of whether fellow fans want him there.
Monday night's Game 7 against the Texas Rangers was no different.
Before the game, Rolling Stone published a story "Astros Fans Are Begging Ted Cruz to Stay at Home for Game 7," citing the Astros' losing record this postseason at home when Cruz was in attendance, and numerous posts on X, formerly Twitter, of people asking Cruz not to attend the pivotal Game 7.
Cruz attended Game 7 anyway, just as he did for Sunday's Game 6 loss and many other home games this postseason.
Still, predictably, Cruz wasn't happy with Rolling Stone's story and in response, posted that he has attended "nearly every Astros home playoff game" for seven years.
Pissy Ted Cruz, as always.
A couple of losers before the game.
Astros fans let him have it.
