Word came from C&L management Wednesday that our own John Amato had been in a nasty car accident.
While all of the staff here expressed worry and concern, we knew within an hour that Amato was in the hospital and stable.
That's when we thought about the old car. John's old BMW is over 20 years old. As one staffer put it, "That's the fear I live with. Old car from the 90s, please don't hit me. Because anything will be a total."
By 6 pm we heard from the man himself that he had been injured.
John will be in the hospital for a couple of days getting physical and occupational therapy. Then there will be the insurance nightmare to deal with.
The best way to send a good word to John at this point is to leave a comment on this post. I assure you he'll read them.
